How much does a tattoo consultation cost?
Nothing. Consultations at Wame Ink are free, take about thirty minutes and come with no obligation. Bring your references and we will talk through placement, size and price. No deposit is taken on the day.
Do I have to pay a deposit to book?
Not until the design is agreed. Nothing is booked until you are happy with the design.
Do you take walk-ins?
Yes, when a chair is free. Flash designs — pre-drawn pieces straight off the wall — can be tattooed the same day, in one sitting.
What are Wame Ink's opening hours?
Tuesday – Saturday, 11:00 – 20:00. Sunday and Monday, closed.

Wame Ink is a custom tattoo studio in Melbourne, VIC, Australia.
Do you draw custom tattoo designs?
Yes. A custom piece is original artwork drawn for one person only, from first reference to final stencil, and sized to your body. The stencil is approved before we start.
Can you cover up an old tattoo?
Yes. A cover-up rebuilds old ink into something you want to keep — usually larger and darker, drawn to bury what is underneath — and the session is planned around the piece you already have.
Do you touch up or rework tattoos done somewhere else?
Yes. Faded lines and blown-out shading are brought back and reworked rather than replaced, on our own work or someone else's. Touch-ups are quoted per sitting.
